History
In 2007, a group of CFE's met to form the Santa Rosa Discussion Group of Certified Fraud Examiners. CFE's attending the group met once every one to three months to discuss the aspects of fraud in the community and ways to deter such financial crime. In 2009, the group expanded to include CFE's from the North Bay counties, including the founding 12 members, and is now known as the North Bay Alliance of Certified Fraud Examiners (NBACFE).
Our Mission
The primary mission of the NBACFE is to promote fraud detection and deterrence. NBACFE members provide investigative, auditing, and consulting services to law firms, business enterprises, and governmental agencies in the areas of litigation support, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, and fraud prevention. Members of the NBACFE are all Certified Fraud Examiners and members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
